The teenage years are tough—for both teens and their parents. One moment they’re pushing you away, the next they’re silently struggling with emotions they can’t explain. It’s a time filled with big feelings, pressure from all sides, and constant change. And sometimes, even with love all around, teens feel alone.
At Take It Outdoors Life and Wellness, we meet teens where they are—emotionally, mentally, and physically. This isn’t about lectures or fixing them. It’s about listening without judgment, building trust, and helping them find their own voice in a noisy world.
Whether they’re dealing with stress, anxiety, self-doubt, family conflict, or just trying to make sense of who they are, our teen coaching offers a calm, supportive space. Through open conversation and outdoor sessions that feel less intense and more natural, we guide teens to process what they’re feeling, develop healthy coping tools, and set meaningful goals for their growth. We don’t just coach teens—we believe in them. We believe that with the right support, even the most closed-off teen can reconnect—with themselves, with their family, and with their future.
Because every teen deserves to feel seen, safe, and strong. And every parent deserves to know their child is finding their way.
It’s important that your teen meets with us in person. It’s too easy to get distracted on the phone or by Zoom. As you, the parent, sit in the park, we take your teen on a walk just far enough away that you can see us the entire time, but can’t hear what is being discussed.
